PediaVision® utilizes an infrared camera that combines auto-refraction and video-retinoscopy. From one meter (just over a yard) away, the camera is used to take a digital photograph. The information acquired is used to automatically assess a child’s vision in as little as five seconds.
NEW TESTING EQUIPMENT
FOR MOBILE SCREENING UNIT...
The Lions are currently working to raise money to purchase new vision screening equipment for the mobile screening unit.  This technology will greatly benefit the thousands of school children in the area that the Lions screen for sight and hearing problems.

KUNA GIRL RECEIVES BRAILLE NOTE TAKER...
The Kuna Lions Club presented a new Braille note-taking computer to Kuna High School sophomore Satomi Law on Jan. 17. Satomi has the same degenerative eye disease as her brother, Joseph Law, who received a similar machine from the Kuna Lions Club two years ago.
